Aquadrive antivibration driveline systems provide an engineered solution that significantly reduces noise and vibration while improving overall driveline reliability.

 

By isolating the engine from the hull on soft engine mounts and absorbing propeller thrust through a dedicated thrust bearing, Aquadrive systems commonly achieve a 50% or greater reduction in cabin and cockpit noise and vibration, while also reducing wear on gearboxes, shafts and cutlass bearings.

 

Power is transmitted via a constant-velocity (CV) shaft that automatically accommodates engine movement and alignment changes, eliminating the need for periodic realignment and allowing the use of softer engine mounts for further vibration isolation.

Thrust is absorbed at the thrust bearing and applied directly to a load bearing section of the hull rather than the engine and flexible mounts such as with a conventional arrangement.
