Described by Boat International as “one of the world’s most amazing super yachts, that could spell the future for efficient long range cruising”, the striking 42.5m Trimaran Adastra certainly turned a few heads at its launching ceremony on the 11th of April 2012 in China for Hong Kong clients Anto and Elaine Marden.
Henleys designed and supplied both wing installations which included shafts, propellers, Kiwi shaft seals, Easiflow stern tubes, Thordon bearings and Flex O fold propellers.
The main drive propeller fitted to the C18 Caterpillar was a 40” diameter 5B “Tiger” design cast in Nibral and finished to ISO484/2 Class “S” standard.
